Funerals at Auckland Council Chapels

Funerals at Auckland Council Chapels

Since December 2017 E-ulogy has been responsible for providing audio visual and attendant services at Auckland Council Chapels. We are proud to have been chosen to bring our years of experience to the assistance of the families, funeral directors and celebrants that use these wonderful spaces. In addition, we are pleased to be able to build on the quality of service provided in the past to bring a new level of care and competency to the Council’s customers. The chapels are located at:

North Shore Memorial Park
Waikumete Cemetery and Crematorium
Manukau Memorial Gardens.

Do you know the music required for the service?

Simply send an email to mediatest@e-ulogy.co.nz with a list detailing what music you would like and when in the service it is to be played.

Alternatively, select ‘Send Music Requirements’ to advise the music via our online form.

Testing Media

We offer an online media testing service. This takes away the inconvenience of driving to the chapel prior to the service.

Here’s how it works:

Step 1 – At least one day before the service.

Contact us directly on 0800 EULOGY or email us at mediatest@e-ulogy.co.nz. In addition, we will need to know the date, time and location of the funeral, and the name of the person who has passed away.

Step 2 – Send Media (2 options)

1. WeTransfer is the simplest way to send big files up to 2GB. Go to www.wetransfer.com. For detailed instructions click on the link, WeTransfer Instructions.

2. We also use Dropbox, which is a cloud storage service that is used for file sharing. Our Team can email you a link to a private Dropbox folder. Simply upload your photo/video tribute and music files to the folder.

Step 3 – Testing

We will test the media and then advise you, by phone or email, of a successful test, or of any problems that we have found with file(s). After that, the file will be forwarded to the appropriate chapel and we will also copy the file to a USB drive to bring to the service as a back up.

Step 4 – Operation of Audio Visual Equipment

Finally, now that we have all the media for the service, the next important thing is to know when you want us to play it for you! Our attendant will work with you, your celebrant and your funeral director, to create a running sheet for the funeral. This will detail what media is to be played at which stage of the service as per the example below:

Service for Mrs. Smith.

Pre-service music

Carry in (Processional) music

We have our own Spotify account for your music requests. However, if you have your own Spotify account you can also create your own playlist and send us the link.

As always, feel free to call us on 0800 385649 (EULOGY) should you need any help.
